>Art produced after 2000 risks to be conventional art
>Art shown here is not conventional art

New Aesthetics - time, speed, retro and quest for the better are important notions of today. Beliefs, traditions, power aspirations and cultural choices are the underlying forces of our evolution. It is less of a question if we like it or not; the point is how we master our individual and collective thinking in handling the present and the near future.

PETERMFRIESS' decision is Systemic Art and you might fancy in joining him, combining visual arts, sound, theatre, performance, media technologies and what is going to come. The intention is not to change the world or to be intrusive but to communicate with those who go beyond or below the surface.

PETERMFRIESS is also funding member of CRY:SYS, reuniting artists of various disciplines.

Vita

PETERMFRIESS was born in Munich, Germany. While finishing Ph.D. studies in space technology and self-organising systems he started his artistic work in the early nineties of the 20th century. Interests in theories of colours and perception prompted him to study composition and colorworks with Paulwitz-Matthäi, Hamburg.
As a systemic artist and inspired by theatre, contemporary dance, literature, architecture, travel and science, he combines visual arts, installations, new interactive media and performance approaches for a richer dialogue with the audience – entertaining, participatory, reactive, poetic. His present main location is Brussels, Belgium.
